Caddo Man Arrested For Sending Inappropriate Messages, Images To Juvenile

A Caddo Parish man is now facing charges after he allegedly sent explicit messages and pictures to a 12-year-old girl in Georgia.

In May, The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office was contacted by authorities in Brookhaven, GA asking for assistance in finding an unknown man who used used KIK messenger to contact a juvenile girl in the Brookhaven area. The man sent sexually explicit messages and images to the girl. She replied with messages but no images. The two did not know each other.

According to a news release from the CPSO:

Sheriff’s Detective Jared Marshall conducted a local investigation and identified Aaron J. Perkins, 18, of the 5800 block of Old Mooringsport Road, as the suspect. Perkins was also found to be in possession of child exploitation images on a cell phone.

Perkins was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on three counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles and one count of Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.

The investigation is ongoing.
