Brandon Harris has options.

The Parkway alumni will be graduating from LSU this Spring, which grants him the ability to pull a Russell Wilson and head to any school in need of a veteran college QB. But it doesn't sound like that's the path Brandon Harris will be taking, at least according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"During a Q-and-A session on Twitter, LSU’s Brandon Harris said he plans to be back with the Tigers in 2017. The backup QB seems to be excited about new offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Harris told a fan on Twitter that he will not transfer and he’ll be with the Tigers in 2017. Harris has been on the bench since September, when Danny Etling took over as the Tigers starting quarterback."

Now that's not to say that Harris may go into Spring practice and find out that he'll be penciled in to hold a clipboard, then bail. Which we wouldn't blame him for at all.

Former LSU starting QB Anthony Jennings made the move to UL-Lafayette for the 2016 season after Harris supplanted him as the starter in Baton Rouge. ULL will be in a similar position with their quarterback position for the 2017 season, which could open the door for Harris to do the exact same thing. But Harris may also have other options on the table, from schools who are closer to a Playoff Bowl in 2017.

At this point, Harris is committed to seeing it through at LSU, which is just fine with Tigers fans, and Matt Canada.
