Ladies, if you're looking to brush up on those skills to protect yourself or just wanting to learn new ones, this is the class for you!

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office is offering a free Women's Self-Defense Class taking place on April 16 at the Viking Drive Substation in Bossier City. The class is limited to 40 participants and daughters/female siblings that are 14 years and older may enroll, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Although this class is offered at no cost, the Bossier Sheriff's Office is asking for canned goods or non-perishable food donations in support of their food bank program, Operation Blessing.

It is also advised to come dressed in comfortable clothes and shoes for the educational hands-on training.
