Local heroes go to battle each day in our community in order to protect the lives of citizens and keep our communities safe.

Northwest Louisiana enjoys a high quality of life due to the efforts of the local law enforcement and first responders. In honor of these local patriots, the Bossier Chamber of Commerce will hold the 2015 Patriot Awards on Friday, Sept. 11, at the Bossier Civic Center.

The event begins at 11:30AM and will recognize Bossier City and Parish policemen, firemen, and all branches of the military for their dedication and service.

Elizabeth McCormick, former US Army Black Hawk Helicopter Pilot, will serve as the keynote speaker. Tickets for Bossier Chamber members are $40, non-member tickets are $50, and table sponsors are $750. For more information or to reserve event seating, please visit www.bossierchamber.com or call Jana Morgan at (318) 746-0252.
