Many mistakes and a lack of a pass rush defense cost LSU on Saturday afternoon in Athens. John Chavis' defense allowed over 300 yards in the first half alone. Here's a recap of LSU's match against the Georgia Bulldogs.

Despite the errors in the game, quarterback Zack Mettenberger played well. Met was 23-for-37, threw for 372 yards and three touchdowns.

Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray was solid. Murray threw 4 touchdown passes in the game.

UGA did an excellent job stopping the run, as LSU only had a combined 77 yards rushing in the game, including -26 yards for Mettenberger.

Despite the outcome, Mettenberger was able to get the ball in the hands of receivers. Jarvis Landry had 156 yards receiving, and one touchdown. Odell Beckham made some clutch catches when the Tigers needed it. Beckham had six receptions, while averaging 19.7 yards. For the entire game, Beckham had 118 yards, combined LSU had 372.

The Tigers will remain on the road to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs, next Saturday.
