Baldknobbers on KWKH Morning Show Today

The original Baldknobbers from Branson, Mo., will be in concert presented by AM 1130, KWKH next Friday, Jan. 27th at the historic Strand Theatre in downtown Shreveport. But you can meet six of the original cast members on the morning show today and every day next week.

This morning,  I talked with Bob Leftridge, who is the emcee for the show as well as a singer and guitar player.  In fact Bob told me he played on the original Louisiana Hayride at the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport from the same stage as Elvis, Hank Williams, Johnny Horton, and other greats in  the late 60s.

He says,  if you want to laugh, then you're going to want to see the Baldknobbers performance this Friday.  Not only will you laugh so hard it hurts at the comedy sketches, you'll hear wonderful classic country tunes and hot new country from some of the best singers and musicians in the music business.

The Baldknobbers literally are Branson.  In fact, they put Branson on the map in the beginnings of building Branson as a country music haven and tourist attraction.
