Mark Hamill Really Hates One ‘Star Wars’ Toy in Particular
When you’re part of a giant franchise, there are going to be toys of you. That’s just how these things tend to work. Star Wars is in a realm all of its own, with toys ranging from giant Star Destroyer LEGO sets to Elan Sleazebaggano action figures, and, naturally, the stars of the franchise have their favorites and least-favorites. Mark Hamill recently shared his opinion on what he thinks is the worst Luke Skywalker toy, and it’s quite a doozy.
Look at How Tentacle-y This New ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Creature Is
It wouldn’t be a Star Wars movie without a few bizarre looking space creatures to remind us all that humans aren’t the only people running around in this faraway galaxy. And as we journey to a new planet, Ahch-to (bless you), we’re sure to meet at least one mysterious beastie lumbering around the planet’s surface. Today brings an image — an artist’s rendering, not a photo from the actual movie — of one of these new creatures Rey and Luke might meet during their journey.
Joel Schumacher Wants Us to Know That He’s Very Sorry About ‘Batman & Robin’
Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin will go down in history as one of the worst superhero movies ever made, and twenty years after its release, Schumacher himself is very much aware that he messed up. He also wants the fans to know that he really is very sorry about the whole thing. Well, almost. He’s not sorry about the bat-nips.
‘Deadpool 2’ Adds Japanese Actress Shioli Kutsuna for a ‘Key Role’
Deadpool 2 is going to introduce at least three new characters into the world of the X-Men offshoot, but we only know for sure who two of them are. Domino and Cable have both been cast (Zazie Beetz and Josh Brolin, respectively), but there are plenty more mutants the movie could add. We know that the mysterious villain has been cast, and we might know who he’ll be playing, and today brought the news that Japanese actress Shioli Kutsuna has been added for a “key role,” though we don’t know for sure who that could be either.
‘Black Panther’ Trailer: Welcome to Wakanda
Well, folks, here it is: possibly the most anticipated Marvel trailer in recent memory. Black Panther is the titular superhero’s first solo outing since he was introduced in Captain America: Civil War, and is also the first Marvel movie with a predominantly black cast. Welcome to Wakanda, the African nation T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) presides over, which has been in turmoil since the untimely death of T’Challa’s father, the former king. The country is also the subject of some contention due to its proximity to a very important (yet fictional) metal.
Alex Kurtzman Explains How the Bride of Frankenstein Will Actually Be a Character in Her Movie
Now that The Mummy is hitting theaters this weekend, it’s time for Universal to get started on the rest of their Dark Universe films. The slate currently includes creatures like the Invisible Man, the Phantom of the Opera, Dracula, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Frankenstein‘s monster, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and so forth, but there’s one that’s a little more intriguing than the rest — partly because, in her film, she hardly even gets to speak. The Bride of Frankenstein is currently in early development, with a script by David Koepp that, if what he says is true, gives the character an agency that she lacked in her original movie.
Robin Wright’s ‘Wonder Woman’ Character Antiope Will Be in ‘Justice League’
Justice League is set to be Warner Bros. biggest superhero team-up film yet, with metahumans we’ve met and a few we haven’t coming together to fight against injustice. Even those who aren’t traditionally members of the team are in for this fight, including a few of Wonder Woman’s Themysciran compatriots.

‘Suicide Squad 2’ Staring Down the Barrel of a 2018 Production Start
Because the one thing this world has been clamoring for is a Suicide Squad sequel, we’ve got a few updates on Deadshot and the gang’s next adventure. For one thing, the script is being written right now, and it looks like, although it doesn’t officially have a director, the movie is on track for a production start sometime next year.

The owner of the largest privately-owned Star Wars memorabilia collection in the world, known as Rancho Obi-Wan, has announced today that it has been systematically robbed over a period of many months from 2015 to 2016. Steve Sansweet, who offers tours of the ranch and its many pieces of Star Wars history, says that not only do the items taken make up about $200,000, it appears to be an inside job.
Chris Hemsworth Tells Us How He Really Feels About the Avengers in an ‘Infinity War’ Set Video
Chris Hemsworth seems to still have a bit of a chip on his shoulder from being mostly excluded from Captain America: Civil War. Sure, he gets to be back with his buddies for Avengers: Infinity War, but he managed to take a little time during a break on set to work some of his frustrations out.
Ron Perlman Gives the ‘Hellboy’ Reboot, and David Harbour, His Blessing
It was a bit of a bummer when we heard that Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy trilogy was not to be concluded after all, and even weirder when Hellboy creator Mike Mignola dropped the news that the series would be rebooted, and stranger still when none other than David Harbour was chosen to portray the character. It stands to reason that del Toro and Ron Perlman are pretty bummed, but Perlman recently told fans that he’s fine with the reboot, and happy for Harbour.
