I was born and raised in Phenix City, Alabama. Yes the spelling is correct; they just spell it wrong in Arizona. Phenix City is right across the Chattahoochee River from Columbus, Georgia. Over the past few days Just east of Mexico City, the Popocatepetl volcano has erupted once again, this time with a cloud of vapor and ash 2 miles high.
The national center for Disaster Prevention in Mexico has raised the volcano alert to Stage 3 Yellow, the highest level before a Red Alert which is when people will be evacuated. The video shows up close footage of the Popocatepetl volcano.

28 People Injured at 4th of July Fireworks Display in California [VIDEO]
During a 4th of July fireworks display yesterday in Simi Valley, California, about 35 miles northwest of Los Angeles, 28 people were injured.
As nearly 10,000 people watched the fireworks being blasted into the sky, the stage holding the fireworks tumbled over firing them into the crowd.
