I was surprised to learn that on a national scale, 70% of Americans hate going to work.

I'm happy to fit into the first of three distinct categories of 100 million American workers which is "Actively Engaged". There are 30 million of us.

I love what I do for a living, talking on the radio and doing fun stuff on the Townsquare Media websites. Both of these jobs are fun so it's like having the best of both worlds. You've heard the old saying, "Find a job doing what you love and you'll never work a day in your life."

The second group is "Not Engaged" consisting of 50 million workers. They just show up, do what they need to do and go home. They have no passion for what they do.

There are 20 million people in the third category, "Actively Disengaged". These people have a bad attitude about everything and complain all the time. The time they spend affecting the moral of others costs up to $550 million a year.
