LSU's defense looked good last week against BYU when they pitched a 27-0 shutout, but that defense can turn to great pretty quick once Arden Key returns.

Key has been working his way back onto the field after multiple off season issues have kept him away from football. Early in there year, Key left the team for an undisclosed reason, but more recently his time away from the field is due to an injury and surgery.

But even with the issues keeping him off the field, it sounds like that's all about to come to an end. Here's more from the Louisiana Radio Network:

"LSU’s Arden Key appears to be getting closer to returning to the field. He practiced fully yesterday, but will not play in the home opener on Saturday against Chattanooga. Head Coach Ed Orgeron says Key continues to make progress every day and they’ll find out more next week."
