April the Giraffe Is Pregnant Again!

I am sure you remember when everyone was watching the live stream of April the Giraffe about to give birth. I am pretty sure it was the live stream seen around the world. Well there is big news coming from April this morning.

She is expecting another baby! According to E! News, "they expect the calf to arrive sometime around March in the early spring of 2019."

BTW testing to find out if a giraffe is pregnant is pretty difficult. They don't pee on a take home test like humans do. According to E! News, they had to collect April's poop and freeze it. Then send the frozen poop to get testing with resulting coming back within 30 days.

I remember watching the live stream last year, and keeping a constant update if the baby had come or not. I had never given that much attention to an animal before. Will there be another live stream? Let's keep our fingers crossed.
