Rhonda Spataro with the local chapter says just last year, Autism affected one in 110, today it strikes one in 88. Spataro has a 21-year-old son, who is autistic. She's been involved with Autism Awareness programs for years, raising money and helping with events that put autistic children together in a social setting. There's also a "Camp Rain Man" that kids can go to at no charge.

If you can get involved in this Saturday's walk go to the Northwest Louisiana Autism on facebook, or their website at autism-society.org/chapter581, or call Rhonda at 318-469-1333.
