Alabama takes over the #1 spot in the College Football Playoff’s 12-member selection committee rankings.

Alabama is followed by Oregon, Florida State and Mississippi State. TCU is 5th and Ohio State is 6th. Alabama's win over Mississippi State was the key to the change.

Oregon was off Saturday, and Florida State slipped by host Miami, 30-26.

LSU falls out of the top 25 after losing to Arkansas. T.C.U. remained higher in the rankings than Baylor, its Big 12 rival, which beat T.C.U. last month but has yet to play the conference’s third-highest-ranked team, Kansas State.
