Captain America: Civil War has done a pretty good job keeping its MCU Spider-Man under wraps before the premiere, though the wall-crawler’s influence is being felt on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well. A new comic variant Season 3 finale poster pays homage to a classic Spider-Man cover, teasing an end to one of the title Agents.

IGN debuted a first look at the Season 3 finale artwork, keeping up Daisy’s prediction that at least someone on the team would bite the big one (in space!), while the poster itself recreates a very famous Amazing Spider-Man #121 cover. In that instance, the victim infamously turned out to be the one and only Gwen Stacy.

Only four episodes remain in the third season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., following Tuesday’s “The Singularity,” wrapping up on May 22 with two-our block “Absolution” and “Ascension.” Thankfully, the cover seems to wave away any trickery around the death, and presumably any cheap cliffhangers as well.

In the meantime, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will continue a countdown to the finale (as will Marvel for Civil War), beginning with the below trailer for next week’s “Failed Experiments.”
