The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Wednesday it is continuing the partnership with the AdvoCare V100 Bowl through 2019.

ACC Commissioner John Swofford said,

The AdvoCare V100 Bowl has tremendous history and tradition as the nation’s 11th oldest bowl game. We’re pleased to extend our partnership and appreciate the hospitality our teams and fans receive. We are excited to have again reached agreement with the Atlantic Coast Conference to have one of their universities play in our bowl. They continue to have top ranked programs in their conference year after year.

The AdvoCare V100 Bowl is in the fourth year of a four-year agreement with the ACC. The details are being finalized for the ACC’s opponent and will be announced soon.

The newly announced trio of bowls will be provided a team from the ACC mix following the selection of the ACC’s previously announced tie-ins with the Discover Orange Bowl – where the ACC’s champion, if not in the College Football Playoff, will play – Russell Athletic Bowl and Capital One Bowl, Hyundai Sun Bowl, Belk Bowl, Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl or taxslayer.com Gator Bowl, and the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.
