2011 CMA Award Nominees Announcement Coming September 6

The nominees for the upcoming 2011 CMA Awards has become as big of a production as the actual  show.

In just a few days, the Band Perry, Jake Owen, Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will announce the nominees in 12 categories. The first five will be broadcast on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ at 8:30AM ET on September 6.

The Band Perry and Jake Owen will be in New York City on the set of ‘Good Morning America’ for the broadcast. It'll be a half hour segment and include a performance by Owen. He’s scheduled to play his current Top 5 hit ‘Barefoot Blue Jean Night,’ one week after he releases a new album with the same title.

Later that morning, Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will be in Nashville and announce the final seven categories.

The 2011 CMA Awards will air on November 10 on ABC. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the show for the third straight year.
